At high school I combined my social sciences courses (History, languages, and economics) with the subjects physics and mathematics. Outside school I liked to write articles for the school paper and the blog of Scholieren.coma. As well After graduating at High School, I attended AUC, a liberal arts and sciences college in Amsterdam. I ended up realizing that the structure of the studies didn’t match with my personality.

What I like about Industrial Design is the structure with relative freedom and the stimulation to have an active, responsible attitude, which connects with the way I like to work and study. I have a great interest in design and I belief that by studying ID this interest can grow in an expertise. I want to take my creativity to a new level: from passive and 2D graphics, to interactive physical products.

PDP

In October I wrote my first PDPb. My main goal was to get awareness of a wide variety of competences. The result of that can be found in Growth. What I learned from writing my first PDP was the importance of formulating goals in SMART. Most goals didn’t and some had an unclear connection with my vision. In my draft PDP I paid extra attention in setting SMART goals.
