Expert meeting – Information Brokering Finding relevant sources for research
As homework for this meeting I searched information about collaboration and young children, using the search strategies on the website of the University Library. I have learnt to use the search planning worksheet of the Information & Expertise Centre, which helps in finding qualitative and useful information. For example: I used boolean search operator and looked in various information sources like patent database Esp@cenet and article database PsycINFO. .a
While making the presentation of the results, I tried to make the visuals more than just nice imagery: The icons, colors and typography helped in communicating my story clearly
“Excellent! Well prepared and thoroughly executed literature search (and a good presentation).”b
