The project in B1.1 had a restricted and structured process. This semester there was more freedom to set up your own process. My original project group merged with another group in the first quartile. By sharing knowledge and using the big group to create a big number of prototypes, this accelerated the ideation process.i Before the Mid-term Demo Day we formed two new groups, based on the preferences for the concepts to develop for the Final Demo Day. I ended up in a totally different group then where I started in.
By combining collaboration with ideation by making and the integration of user tests for decision making, the design process helped looking at the concept from various perspectives and supported a pleasant working atmosphere.
The concept could have benefitted from more research though. I set the goal to use the literary research skills I used past semester in my studies. Instead of in the project, I used them in the course USE base and the assignment Disruptive Business Processes. In the next semester I want a more prominent role for research in the project.
